GAIT ANALYSIS / SHOE FITTING

For those needing more than a brief 10-15 min shoe consultation, for a nominal fee of $30, Wendi schedules Gait Analysis on the 1/2 hr to have time to discuss your challenging injuries, constant aches and pains, chronic muscle tightness, fallen arches or, just the best shoe choices for you given your run style…neutral , excessive pronator or supinator.

Wendi Pearson’s training and background includes:
  • Associates degree in Physical Therapy
  • Double Bachelor’s degree in Health & Human Performance
  • 18 years of experience doing gait analysis in various settings.
  • Personal exploration of creative ways to deal with injuries based on physics & physiology
  • Personal Trainer certification
  • Nutrition & Weight Management certification
  • Consultant for various physical therapists, chiropractors, podiatrists, hospitals, athletic teams & trainers

Gait Analysis includes any or all of the following:
  • Arch & foot evaluation
  • Ankle, knee, hip, & back alignment
  • Muscle weakness or imbalance
  • Pelvic rotation
  • Evaluate need for arch supports or not
  • Suggest exercises that may help injured or weak area
  • Suggest of best possible shoes that matches current needs
  • Thorough explanation of what is demonstrated in gait pattern & why a particular shoe is a good choice
