LOCAL RUNNING CLASSES
(Minneapolis/St. Paul Area)
Early and mid morning or early afternoon classes all offered.
Classes offered include a variety of types of runs - easy runs, hills, interval/speed training etc., as well as incorporating proper running form, drills etc. into every class.

ARE ANY OF THESE CLASSES GOING TO BE RIGHT FOR ME?
If you've been considering giving running a try or if you have already put in a few miles already but feel the need for a bit more information or maybe more of a challenge, these classes will be perfect for you. If you've ever been too intimidated to join a running club or to enter a race, try out some small group classes first to boost your confidence. Meet runners like yourself in a fun, supportive and non intimidating atmosphere. My hope is to motivate you to want to run more, give you information you can take with you mentally on any run you do and to get you into the "habit" of running! The benefits are life changing. Mentally, physically, personally as well as for your friends and family.

To get you started and comfortable running and to work towards your personal goals and abilities along with giving you the information and motivation necessary to help you maintain your training for life. It's never too late to start!
A DAILY OR WEEKLY RUN
Every day or every week, we will run together. Come dressed to run. I don't care if you've never run a single step, this is the place to start! You are guarantee to have fun. Yes, it might take some gumption to sign up for that second class but trust me, it'll be the best decision you've even made and soon that weekly run will turn into a daily run!
NEW FRIENDS AND TRAINING PARTNERS
One of the best benefits of running is hanging out with people that enjoy the same thing as you! Regardless of your running experience-- this is the perfect place to meeting new friends, new training partners and a place to enjoy the company of other fit-minded people.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
All classes will meet at the Lake Harriet Bandshell (concert benches) unless otherwise noted directly below class description.
All levels of ability welcome at all classes.
Moms / Women-Only Running Class
Need to get out of the house with the little one? Come out and join other mom's to blow off some steam by running/walking Lake Harriet. You don’t need to be able to run the entire lake, just come out and join some other mom’s for some exercise.
Classes meet every Monday or Friday at 9:00am
Introduction to Running
If you are new to running, this class will be perfect for you. Ever wanted to run all the way around Lake Harriet? Throughout the weeks you'll build on your previous weeks distance in order to accomplish the goal of running the entire lake.
Class meets every Monday at 6:30am. 10:30am or 1:00pm
Run Faster - Introduction to Interval / Speed Workouts
Interested in learning how to get faster? Time to incorporate some interval training! Learn how to properly ramp up your interval training and in no time you're overall paces will get faster.
Classes meet every Tuesday at 6:30am, 9:00am or 1:00pm
** Summer Months - Classes meet at the Edina Community Center - 5701 Normandale Rd, Edina, MN
** Winter Months - Classes meet at the Lake Harriet Bandshell
Build Your Endurance
This class will build your endurance from week to week so you can run farther for longer periods of time.
Classes meet every Wednesday at 6:30am, 9:00am or 1:00pm
Hill Training!!
One of the fastest ways to build your endurance and running strength is to do hill training! Come join us for a Hill running class and find out how fun it can be!
Classes meet every Thursday at 6:30am, 9:00am or 1:00pm
